Jeff enlisted in the United States Army Reserve in July. He worked really hard to be able to join and I have never been more proud of him. He answered a call to serve our country, to make sacrifices, and to be part of something greater than any one person.
He has already gone to two weekend drills and will be leaving in September for two weeks for Annual Training (AT). He will be leaving for Basic Training in November to Ft. Jackson, South Carolina and then it's off to Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri for AIT. The MOS he picked is a 74D which is a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Warfare Specialist, whew that was a mouth full so we just call it CBRN.
