I can not believe that it is exactly 2 weeks until Jeff leaves to become an United States Soldier!! Since my last post a lot has happened, Jeff got a promotion to PV2 when he was at his unit for AT. They had a little ceremony and said how great he has been doing and promoted him! He was so excited and really does love his job which makes me very happy!
We have been getting the house ready for me to live in by myself. This is going to be the first time I have ever lived by myself, well not really by myself with my guard dog, Daisy. :) The house needed alot of work to really make it a nice place to live. I am so glad that he is putting all this time into getting it fixed up for me to be comfortable. I truly do have the best husband a woman could ever ask for and I am so happy with my marriage it sometimes feels "unreal."
We had to do something to the kitchen counter tops, they were well disgusting and I was really not happy with them. Here are some before and after picks of my new little kitchen!

I can't believe how prepared I feel for Jeff to leave. Maybe it is because we have been through this before or maybe it is just because it hasn't really "hit me" yet. I don't know. I am sure I am going to have my days that are harder than others but I know I can do this! I guess I am going to have to get over being afraid of the dark. Well, not really afraid of the dark but afraid of what is in the dark!
