I'm gonna get better :)

Well, so much for vowing to blog regularly. This is my second post and the last month has been so, so, so busy. We got our little house. It is super duper cute and the perfect size for the three of us. It was built in 1928 and is an old farm house. It has a big classic farm style kitchen with lots of windows. It needs a bit of work but we can make it all pretty. I have two weeks to make it all pretty before Jeff gets back from AT then we can move in. I am really excited. I will take pictures of it once it is all set up.

Jeff left this morning at 5am for AT (Annual Training) and will not be back until the 26th. He was late his first morning because we did not account for Denver Monday morning traffic, but that won't happen again his hotel is less than 2 miles from where is AT is so that is a good thing. I am sure these two weeks will fly by. He loves waking up every morning and doing PT, he loves learning about the Army, and he loves being apart of the Army.

I found a picture of this old army reserve poster and I think that is how Jeff is feeling already and he hasn't even gone to BCT. He really enjoys being part of the Army and being an American Soldier. He asked me the other day if I would be mad if when he was done with BCT and AIT he decided to go Active Duty. Of course I would not be mad. I want him to do what makes him happy and if being a full time soldier is what makes him happy do it! Plus it would be fun for me to travel around with him and if he did that I would just go to school full time. So I am all for it! :) We know it won't happen right away going Active Duty can take quite a while and it all depends if his Commander will release him from his unit, but I think he wants to start the process right out of AIT.

We shall see, and I am gonna get better at this blogging thing!
